Welcome

Hi I'm Laura Lenander, I'm an artist and ordained minister in the Church of England. Take a scroll to see a bit of me.

Creative Worship
As an artist, my passion lies in fostering creative worship experiences and empowering others to connect with God through imaginative expression. Explore below to see how this vision unfolds across various contexts.
Talks
Diving into the depths of God's Word is a privilege like no other. As someone who didn't initially find public speaking natural, I vividly recall the nerves and sweaty palms of my first sermon. Yet, amidst the weight of the task, there's an undeniable joy in sharing the good news that God has for His people. Each opportunity to stand before a congregation is a humbling reminder of the responsibility entrusted to us - to convey the timeless truths and profound love contained within the words of our Bibles. Through trembling voices and quivering hands, we embark on a journey to illuminate minds and stir souls, guided by the profound honour of serving as vessels for God's message.
Pilgrimage
Walking at God's pace, taking time to pilgrimage to places of significance. It really means to step out of ourselves in order to encounter God where he has revealed himself, where his grace has shone with particular force. Sometimes I've pilgrimaged to places far away, some are close by. Pilgrimage is an important part of rhythms of the year for me, taking time to step into God's wider story and reset my eyes on Him. .
Theological Study
I love to learn and I love the Bible. Theological study didn't just pause when I finished a degree in theology but something I'm constantly pursuing. This spills out into ministerial life but also into the visual. Theology isn't always about words. Sometimes a picture can tell 1000 words.
